What must be considered during delivery?

There are various factors to consider for the delivery of your shipment.

In addition to certain time windows, forwarder companies also have spatial restrictions for their shipments, which you as the customer must be aware of. For example, most shippings are “curbside deliveries", which means that the goods are unloaded at the roadside or on the pavement.

If damages occur in the case of groupage freight, this should be noted directly after delivery and additionally confirmed in writing by the forwarding agent. In that case, customers are entitled to subsequent fulfilment.

A freight claim at a later time is difficult to make, as it must be proven that the goods were damaged during transport.
