If you regularly ship goods or products that are packaged in the same way, you can save them in your product templates. This way, you avoid selecting the correct packaging manually and entering the dimensions each time.
Selecting Product Templates During the Booking Process
On the very first page of the booking process, go to the Packaging section and click Product Templates at the bottom right. There, you can choose one of your saved product templates.
If there are slight deviations, you can modify the selected product template on the spot.
Tip: Within a product template, you can store not only a single packaging type but also multiple — even different — packaging types in combination.
Creating Product Templates
You can create product templates in your account under Booking Automation.
Simply scroll to the bottom of the page and click New Product Template.
Example:
If you ship solar panel systems as complete sets to your customers, you could, for example, save two full Euro pallets with solar panels and one half pallet with accessory materials as a single product template.
