Curbside delivery is the standard delivery method in the freight forwarding industry. The goods are simply delivered to the curb of the delivery location.
Commercial customers are usually familiar with the term "curbside delivery" and consider it the standard method for deliveries. Private customers, on the other hand, are often confused by the term.
"Curbside delivery" means that the delivery is made to the curbside of the entered address at no additional cost. The goods are not delivered to the front door or the place of use.
If the consignee is not a private customer but a company, the truck drivers usually adapt to the logistical circumstances. If there is, for instance, a loading ramp available, it is used in most cases.
