What does the term "bulky goods" cover?

In this article you will find out when goods are considered bulky goods and which ones you can easily send with Cargoboard.

"Bulky goods" are shipments that are larger than 120 x 60 x 60 cm or heavier than 30 kg and are therefore no longer accepted by the parcel service providers (DHL, Hermes and Co.).

What bulky goods can I send with Cargoboard?

With Cargoboard you can send bulky goods with dimensions of up to 240 x 120 x 220 cm and a weight of up to 1,000 kg without any problems via groupage freight.

You can also send larger shipments with dimensions of up to 400 x 240 x 240 cm and a weight of more than 1,000 kg with us. However, for these shipments, the loading and unloading of the truck must be secured from the customer's side, as the maximum load-bearing weight of the lift trucks and the lifting platforms with which our trucks are equipped is 1,000 kg.
